About The Kotappa Konda Temple:
Kotappakonda is a holy hill and additionally a village that's 13km from Narasaraopet in Guntur district. It is also known as as Kondakavuru, but more popularly known as Kotappakonda or Trikutaparvatam (a 3 peaked hill).
The temporal home of Trikoteswara Swamy in Kotappakonda village. The 3 peaks are named after Hindu Trimurthis Brahma, Vishnu and maheswara. Kotappakonda is the famous temple of Lord Shiva, which is built on it with a stairway about 1000steps.
According to the inscriptions, the temple changed into in life even earlier than 1172A.D. The king Krishnadevaraya gifted huge chunks of lands for the preservation of the temple.
